Chippewa Valley Ruffed Grouse Society Augusta Wildlife Area Workday

Please join the Chippewa Valley chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society at 8:30 am on Saturday August 22 for our first volunteer workday at the Augusta Wildlife area.  We will be clearing and removing brush to help improve habitat for a host of wildlife from ruffed grouse to endangered Karner blue butterflies. Please dress appropriately for working in brushy cover (long pants and sturdy footwear) and be sure to bring some good work gloves.  We will begin with a brief meeting to get everyone started and break for a light lunch around noon.
